Promote marine tourism

sailing-scotland-mapSailing Scotland’s Marine tourism open source project allows anyone wishing to promote their organization or business to marine tourists  using our data mapping. The map allows people to pre-plan trips round our coastline.

Of course we don’t know where tourists are coming from or where exactly they are going.  Even the best  laid plans can change due to  wind and tide changes. What our resource allows is a map showing as many alternatives as possible to visit or find any marine service that they might need as close to their location, showing the safe stepping stones round the coast.

By sharing the same information, the largest collection of data of its kind in Scotland, then everyone is helping promote using the same message.

Sailing doesn’t have boundaries which is why the map is the same for all our regional areas, so passage can be planned without boundary constraints.

If you’re interested in promoting marine tourism, fill in the contact for below and we will contact you and get you started.
